Pravah – A Whisper of the Wind is a kinetic facade and ventilation system inspired by the Hawa Mahal in Jaipur. Reinterpreting traditional sandstone jaali, the project transforms the facade into a living skin that introduces movement, tactility, and dynamism. Patterned paper flaps flutter manually when activated, simulating the whisper of wind while allowing user interaction. The system is deliberately non-digital, emphasizing craftsmanship, slowness, and intimacy, inviting users to engage with the mechanics and influence airflow, creating a poetic blend of architecture, climate response, and experiential design.
