The project reimagines the Herz Jesu Church within an Indian context, originally conceptualized by Peter Zumthor. The design explores structure, materials, program, functionality, and user engagement, balancing innovation with respect for the existing church on site. The process and final outcome reflect how much of Zumthor’s original concept is retained while adapting it to local context and cultural considerations.
